The “Waterproofing” error on your Miele W1 indicates water has collected in the base, likely due to a leak or blockage. Since tilting the machine temporarily resolved the issue, potential causes include a clogged drain or filter, a leaking hose, overuse of detergent, or a faulty component. Check and clean the drain pump, hoses, and lint filter. Inspect for loose or damaged connections. Avoid overloading and ensure correct detergent use. If the issue persists after these steps, it may require professional service to address an internal leak or faulty part. Keep the machine unplugged if water continues to collect. Thank you for reaching out. The E36 error code on your washing machine typically indicates a fault with the water-level sensor or pressure switch. This could be due to a blockage in the pressure system, a faulty sensor, or an issue with the control board.

You can check for blockages in the pressure hose or clean the filter, but further diagnosis requires specialized tools.

We recommend booking an engineer to accurately identify and resolve the issue. Let us know if you’d like to arrange this, and we’ll be happy to help!
